It employs a dual‑taper pin with an enlarged torque bearing face and controlled internal diameters to achieve higher make‑up, operating and yield torques. Optimized thread interference and relief groove profiles ensure driftability up to yield torque, making the connection ideal for extended‑reach and casing‑while‑drilling applications.
