The BTS®‑6 PR is a high‑strength, gas‑tight two‑step connection that includes a precision‑machined groove to accommodate a protective ring (PR), specifically designed for use with Internal Plastic Coating (IPC) systems. This design modification provides a consistent corrosion barrier by allowing the coated pin nose to shoulder directly against the ring, protecting the integrity of the coating throughout the connection. Built on the proven BTS®‑6 platform, the BTS®‑6 PR offers the same durability and sealing reliability, with added protection for corrosive service environments
