The BTS®‑8 PR is a gas‑tight, two‑step premium connection built on Benoit®’s trusted BTS®‑8 platform and enhanced with a precision‑machined groove to support Internal Plastic Coating (IPC) systems. This modification allows a Teflon protective ring to be installed at the back of the box, creating an elastic surface for the coated pin nose to shoulder against—helping preserve a consistent corrosion barrier through the connection. The BTS®‑8 PR maintains the strength, sealing integrity and proven reliability of the original BTS®‑8 design with added protection for corrosive or coated service environments
